Implacable husband thrashes wife, cuts hair in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Violence against women has continued to prevail in the country as a pitiless husband in Karachi’s Ibrahim Hydery brutally beaten up his wife and cut her hair over asking for money here on Monday.
Police personnel while arriving at the scene rescued a young woman from her husband s house and launched an investigation into the matter. A case has also been registered on the compliant of the sufferer against her husband Noor Bashir.
The affected women told the security officers that she was being held in unlawful confinement and often thrashed on different pretexts.
Revealing the reason behind recent cruel act of her husband, she said that Noor Bashir asked for gold jewelry so that he can utilize the money in wrongful deed but he smashed her on refusal.
Its a fourth marriage of Noor Bashir with me, she added.
