Summary Ibrahim paid 1 lac, 50 thousand rupees cash and promised to give remaining money within a month
RAJANPUR (Dunya News) – A resident of Aqilpur area of Rajanpur district, Shafi Muhammad sold his 11-year-old daughter to a 40-year-old man named Ibrahim on Saturday for 4 lac and 20 thousand rupees. Ibrahim paid 1 lac and 50 thousand rupees cash and promised to give the remaining money within a month. The price of the girl was fixed by local residents named Mehar Bakhsh, Haji Mehran and Darr Muhammad.
When the father of the girl tried to hand the girl over to Ibarahim, mother of the girl ran away with the 11-year-old to her brother’s house. Girl’s maternal uncle reported the case in Rajanpur police station. Police reached the area and arrested the father of girl and brother of Ibrahim.
