BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) Police in Colombia have arrested a former New Jersey resident wanted in the U.S. to face charges over the 2007 death of a woman on whom she allegedly performed plastic surgery without a medical license.

Shortly after the patient died of an overdose of silicone and lidocaine, Adriana Jaramillo fled to Mexico and eventually traveled to her native Colombia. She was later charged in New Jersey with aggravated manslaughter.

Colombia s National Police said Thursday that the 49-year-old woman was captured at Bogota s international airport following an investigation carried out jointly with the FBI.
