MULTAN: (Dunya News) – Police officer and guards at a bank in Multan on Friday foiled an attempted bank robbery. One robber got injured in the exchange of fire between police, and guards, and the robbers while the other two fled, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, robbers had held the employees of a private bank, located at BCG Square of Multan, and looted Rs. 1,085,000. Trying to resist the robbers as they tried to flee, one guard, named Shehzad, received a bullet and got injured.
A police officer standing outside the bank also fired at the robbers and one of them got injured as a result. Police arrived in large numbers upon information and arrested the injured robber. They also recovered the looted money from him.
