PML-N demanded inquiry when in opposition but went mum after acquiring power

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Two years have passed since the death of the NAB officer Kamran Faisal who was inquiring corruption worth billions of rupees in Rental Power Plants scandal. Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) continuously demanded inquiry into the mysterious murder of the NAB officer when it was in opposition but went mum after acquiring power.

Despite the report by Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFAC) that confirmed that Kamran Faisal was beaten before being murdered, the case was not solved. Current head of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and all other director generals are also unable to open the case.

When contacted, NAB spokesman Nawazish Ali Khan said that he could not question any of the officers about this case at that moment and will be able to respond on Monday. He told that he was on an official visit to Karachi at the time of contact.
