YENAGOA (AFP) - Three foreigners have been kidnapped in Nigeria s southern oil-producing Niger Delta region, police said Monday, as the Dutch foreign ministry told AFP it was "aware" of reports that those taken were Dutch citizens.
"Three expatriates tried to access (the Ekeremor local government area) without security and were abducted," Bayelsa state police spokesman Alex Akhigbe said of the Sunday attack.
