LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s national T20 cricket team captain Salman Ali Agha has explained the reasoning behind including Babar Azam in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Speaking to the media after the squad announcement, Salman Ali Agha acknowledged that Babar Azam’s recent record in the Big Bash League was not ideal.

However, he stressed that Babar has consistently delivered strong performances for the national team, which justified his selection.

The Pakistan captain also highlighted the advantage of playing matches in Sri Lanka, noting that it would benefit the team as they would not have to deal with extensive travel, unlike several other participating sides.
