NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – The much-anticipated ICC T20 World Cup 2026 will once again bring traditional rivals Pakistan and India face-to-face on the global stage.
According to Indian media reports, the tournament schedule has been finalised, with matches set to take place from 7 February to 8 March across India and Sri Lanka.
One of the most awaited fixtures, Pakistan versus India, is scheduled for 15 February in Colombo. Reports indicate that Pakistan will play all of its group stage matches in Sri Lanka due to logistical arrangements. The final, however, has been officially allocated to Ahmedabad.
In an interesting twist, if Pakistan successfully reaches the final, the championship match will then be relocated to Colombo instead. This conditional venue decision adds further intrigue to the tournament dynamics.
The complete schedule for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is expected to be released on 25 November, detailing venues, match timings, group allocations and knockout fixtures.
