DUBAI (Dunya News) – The stage is set for the much-anticipated tri-nation cricket series featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates, which will begin in the Emirates on Friday.
The opening match will see Pakistan face Afghanistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The national team has carried out intensive training sessions in Dubai, focusing on ironing out weaknesses before the series’ start.
Ahead of the event, the trophy was unveiled in a ceremony where the captains of all three sides posed for photographs with the silverware, adding to the tournament’s excitement.
The tri-nation series will culminate with the final on 7 September. The competition comes as a prime opportunity for all three teams to sharpen their skills before the Asia Cup 2025, scheduled to begin in the UAE from 9 September.
