FAISALABAD (Web Desk) - Peshawar Region's top-order batter Sahibzada Farhan has set a new national record in T20 cricket during the National T20 Cup.

In the first semi-final of the tournament, Farhan smashed a century against Abbottabad Region, scoring 100 runs off 58 balls, including six sixes and eight fours.

With this innings, he accumulated 588 runs in six innings of the National T20 Cup, setting the record for the most runs in a single edition of the tournament.

Interestingly, the previous record also belonged to Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 492 runs in 12 innings during the last season. He has now equaled Fakhar Zaman’s record for the most runs in a single T20 tournament edition.

Fakhar Zaman had scored 588 runs in 13 innings during the 2022 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
