(Web Desk) – Pakistan skipper Mohamamd Rizwan is just a step away from surpassing former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s record for most fifties as wicketkeeper-batsman in Australia.

Pakistan will take on Australia in second of the three-match ODI series on Friday at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide with visitors aiming to level the series.

If Rizwan manages to score a fifty or more score in the match, he will surpass Sarfaraz, Moeen Khan, Kamran Akmal and Saleem Yousaf.

Currently, Sarfaraz Ahmed leads the chart with six fifties in 27 innings followed by Akmal who made four in 42 innings. Moeen Khan scored three fifties in 35 innings while Saleem Yousaf smashed three in 21 innings in Australia.

Rizwan has made six fifties or more score in 30 innings and he is just one fifty away from clinching the title from Sarfaraz Ahmed.

In first match against Australia, he scored 44 runs off 71 balls.
