MULTAN (Dunya News) – Kamran Ghulam has joined the elite club after smashing a hundred in his Test debut against England at Multan Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

The right-hand batsman completed the ton in 192 ball, becoming the 13th Pakistani player to score a century on Test debut.

He achieved the milestone in second Test against England where he managed to boost the total after Pakistan lost quick three wickets in the first innings.

Previously, Khalid Ibadullah, Javed Miandad, Saleem Malik, Mohmmad Wasim, Azhar Mahmood, Ali Naqvi, Younis Khan, Taufeeq Umar, Yasir Hameed, Fawad Alam, Umar Akmal and Abid Ali have achieved the milestone.

Fans had pinned hopes on him after the uncapped player was added to the team as replaced of batting maestro Babar Azam, who was rested by the selection committee amid his ongoing rough patch in performance.

It is recalled that Ghualm, who has been showing impressive performance with bat in domestic cricket, recently made the headlines with his spectacular batting in Champions One Day Cup.
