FAISALABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan's aggressive batsman Usman Khan has established a new national record for the fastest double century in List A cricket.
In a match of the President's Cup held at Iqbal Stadium, Usman showcased an outstanding performance against SNGPL, completing his double century in just 131 balls.
He scored a total of 201 runs off 132 balls before getting retired hurt.
This achievement marked the fastest double century in Pakistan's List A history, surpassing the previous record held by Sharjeel Khan, who completed his double century in 133 balls against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2022.
Notably, this was Usman's 10th List A match, where he has now accumulated 652 runs at an average of 93.14, including one double century, one century, and four half-centuries.
Usman Khan is the seventh Pakistani cricketer to score a double century in List A matches, joining the ranks of players like Fakhar Zaman, Abid Ali, Mohammad Ali, Sharjeel Khan, Kamran Akmal, and Khalid Latif.
