The change in relation comes after Pakistan suffered four consecutive defeats in World Cup
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Former wicket-keeper Rashid Latif claimed that top officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were ignoring national team skipper Babar Azam after Green Shirts suffered four consecutive defeats in ongoing World Cup 2023.
A day earlier, Babar Azam and Co suffered a heart-broken defeat in a clash against South Africa. The national players are facing massive criticism from a section of cricket fraternity and fans for failing to make a comeback.

In a television show, Mr Latif said that the captain had been sending messages to PCB Chairman Ashraf Zaka, Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer and Director for International Cricket Usman Wahla for days but the officials had turned a deaf ear to him.
He also claimed that the PCB had conveyed it to the national players that the central contracts signed shortly before the World Cup will be revised.
The former cricketer said more inside stories would surface once the mega cricket event is over.
It is recalled that Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shahid Afridi were included in category A and the board had decided to give them Rs6.1 million in per month salary.
