(Web Desk) – Don’t call me Pakistani. The comment from Pakistan’s former pace ace startled his fans and social media users.
Younis said so after the world cup match between Pakistan and Australia. He is currently part of a commentary panel for the world cup.
Speaking alongside Shane Watson and Finch, Younis said: “Don’t call me Pakistani. I am half-Australian.”
Waqar Younis’ wife Dr Faryal is an Australian citizen and the family lives in Sydney.
