I think Afghanistan had somehow dominated our nerves for the last couple of years
LAHORE (Web Desk) - After a belligerent victory of Afghanistan against defending champions England, former Pakistani all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has cautioned Pakistan to remain alive to Afghanistan's ongoing stellar performance.
Speaking to a media outlet, he asked Pakistan not to lower their guard against Afghanistan.
Pakistan and Afghanistan will be facing each other in Chennai on Oct 23.
"I think Afghanistan had somehow dominated our nerves for the last couple of years. Only Naseem Shah was the difference in both the matches when Afghanistan had almost snatched victory from our claws but Naseem Shah's time-favoured performance helped us cruise through at the eleventh hour. " Razzaq said.
"Afghanistan's confidence is really appreciable as they have played against India and their batters withstood a balanced bowling attack resiliently," he added.
