No additional team in upcoming PSL season

Next season will be played with six teams
(Web Desk) - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee decided that no additional team will be added in the upcoming season of the PSL.
The committee met with chairman Zaka Ashraf in the chair at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore to discuss the upcoming ninth seasons of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). It was decided that next season would be played with six teams. For the promotion and support of women's cricket, the PCB will continue to explore opportunities for women's league or exhibition matches during HBL PSL.
The window for the upcoming season is decided between 8 Feb to 24 Mar 2024. A final schedule will be confirmed in the next meeting.
The PCB will work with the franchises to explore alternate venues for contingency planning.
Previous edition of HBL PSL report was also presented in the meeting with a briefing for the franchisees' representatives regarding success of the eighth edition.
