The left-arm pacer bagged four wickets in the opening over
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi created history while playing for Nottinghamshire county against Warwickshire in the T20 Blast game at Trent Bridge on Friday.
The left-arm pacer produced stellar show with ball as he took four wickets in first over of the innings. It is for the first time in the tournament’s history that a bowler achieved four-wicket haul in the opening over of a game.
The 23-year-old removed opener Alex Davies with a toe-crushing Yorker and then sent Chris Benjamin to pavilion for a golden duck. He later dismissed Dan Mousley who played the delivery straight into the hands of Olly Stone at Cover off the fifth delivery of the over.
