Summary Raja expresses resolve to promote sports
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – NA Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Tuesday praised cricketer Haris Rauf, saying the latter is an “exceptional” player.
Ashraf congratulated Rauf on his appointment as the Ambassador of Parliamentary Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Task Force.
The NA speaker made it clear that the parliament was eager to promote sports in the country.
The pacer, on the other hand, believed that being named the SDGs' goodwill ambassador was a great honour for him.

On the occasion, former KP chief minister Akram Khan Durrani and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani were also present in the meeting.
