Imran Khan revealed he advised PCB chairman to make Babar as captain during his premiership
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Ex-captain of Pakistan’s national cricket team and legendary cricketer Imran Khan termed the current captain Babar Azam as outstanding and world-class player.
During an interview for a local cahnnel Imran Khan said that Pakistan has got a world-class player after a long time in the form of Babar Azam, he attracted my attention with his performances.
Imran said that the batter has a potential to break the records. He said, he analyse the batsman from a point of view of a baller, and a batter must have technique, talent and temperament and Babar Azam fulfil all these requirements.
In November last year, Imran Khan revealed that when he was prime minister he advised the then Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ahsaan Mani to make Babar as the captain of the team as the captain should be a talented world-class player who should be an inspiration for the team.
