KL Rahul's house decorated ahead of wedding with Athiya Shetty
MUMBAI (Web Desk) – There are reports that India’s star batter KL Rahul is planning to get married to his longtime girlfriend Athiya Shetty later this month. The rumors have been fueled by recent decorations at Rahul’s Mumbai residence, which include yellow lights and flowers.
His Sandhu Palace flat in Bandra has been decked out with these decorations. However, there is no official confirmation from the couple or their families regarding the wedding. Videos and pictures of Rahul’s residence are also circulating on social media.
Team India will take on New Zealand in three ODIs and as many T20Is at home, starting January 18. However, KL Rahul has not been named in any of the squads for the two white-ball series.
While announcing the two teams, the BCCI disclosed that Rahul would not take part in the matches due to personal commitments. The ODI series opener between the two nations will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday, Jan 18.
