Salman's maiden Test ton leads Pakistan to 438

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan all-rounder Agha Salman’s maiden Test ton has led Pakistan to 438 after skipper Babar Azam and wicket-keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed’s major contributions. 

Babar and Salman scored prolific Test centuries and it was his (Salman s) first ton. Pakistan lost four wickets on the second day of the first Test against New Zealand. Pakistan lost skipper Babar on 161 in the first over of the second day. While Nauman Ali scored 7, Mohammad Wasim, 2, and Mir Hamza scored only 1.

Pakistan started the second day at 317 for 5 and Pakistan opted to bat first on the first day of the Test match. Earlier on the first day, Sarfaraz Ahmed, who was playing his 50th Test, also remained significant scorer with 86 runs. He was also representing Pakistan at the home ground for the first time.
