Pakistan beat UAE to reach semi-final
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan on Monday qualified for the semi final after beating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 21 runs in the Asian Cricket Council’s Under19 group stage match in Dubai.
The Pakistan team has won all three matches played so far and remains unbeaten in the Under19 Asia Cup.
“Pakistan U19 team beats UAE to qualify for the semifinals of #ACC #U19AsiaCup,” the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Twitter.
Batting first, Pakistan set a 219 run target at the loss of eight wickets. UAE scored 198 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the fifty-overs match.
“The Pakistan skipper is the player of the match for his all round display,” the Asian Cricket Council said in a twitter post.
