In 1999, when Abdul Razzaq s career was at its peak, rumors were circulating that the all-rounder was having an affair with stage dancer Deedar, but such reports could not be confirmed but the former cricketer has spoken openly on the matter.
Speaking to the private television channel, Abdul Razzaq said that his abilities were not used properly and he was dropped from the team several times due to the decisions of the top management of the cricket board.
“I turned down several match-fixing offers in the past,” he said.
According to the former cricketer, the same offer was later made to Shoaib Malik and he was compelled by the higher authorities to remove five players including him from the team. He does not blame Shoaib Malik for dropping him from the team.
Abdul Razzaq, while admitting to the question of relationship with actress Deedar, said that he has had a relationship with actress.

“I had not made any big promises with the actress and asked her to leave showbiz for marriage in six months but she used to say that she can’t leave her career activities like stage dramas etc,” he added.
