Ex-bowler Asif claims many cricketers want to settle in US
He said Waqar Younas learned to reverse swing at the end of his career
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former fast bowler Muhammad Asif on Friday claimed that many Test cricketers were in contact with him and want to leave Pakistan and come to the United States.
In a video statement on Friday, he said that he has shifted to the US from Pakistan and many international and Test cricketers were in contact with him and wanted to shift to the US.
The former fast bowler said that this is a worrying moment for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the board should reconsider its policies before its too late.
Regarding Pakistan cricket team bowling coach, he said that Waqar Younas used to reverse swing by cheating with the ball, adding that he [Waqar] had no technique to pick wickets with new ball.
The bowling coach learned to reverse swing at the end of his career, he said.
