Afterwards, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani addressed the millions of viewers watching from home and thanked the participating teams, officials, staff and all stakeholders.
He said that this year, PSL matches are being played in Karachi and Lahore and due to coronavirus, only 7,500 spectators will be able to watch the match as spectators in Karachi and 5,000 in Lahore.
In a welcome announcement, Ehsan Mani said that if the situation improves, more spectators may be allowed into the stadiums.
