SA thump Pakistan with 6-wicket win in second T20I
Pakistan won the first T20I against South Africa by just three runs
LAHORE (Dunya News) - South Africa steamrolled Pakistan in the second Twenty20 International at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore to level the T20 series 1-1.
The visitors got off to a solid start after Pakistan set them a target of 145 and never looked back.
Despite losing two early wickets, Reeza Hendricks and Pite van Biljon put up a 77 run partnership for the third wicket smashing Pakistani bowlers all around the park. David Miller and Captain Heinrich Klaasen put up a decisive 40 run partnership to finish the match with more than 3 overs to spare.
None of the Pakistani bowlers could impress, with only three bowlers snagging any wickets.
At the end of Pakistan’s inning, the hosts managed 144 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Muhammad Rizwan top scored for Pakistan with 51(41) while Dwaine Pretorius dealt the most damage with the ball, picking up 5 wickets in his 4-over quota.
