Imran Khan downs Virat Kohli in ICC's poll of 'giants' among captains

Imran Khan received 47.3% votes as compared to Virat Kohli who was able to secure 46.2% votes.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan captain and 1992 World Cup winner Imran Khan, who is the incumbent prime minister of Pakistan, is still ruling the cricketing world almost 30 years after his retirement as he downed India’s Virat Kohli in ICC’s poll of ‘giants’ among captains.

According to details, Imran Khan received 47.3% votes as compared to Virat Kohli who was able to secure 46.2% votes. AB de Villiers and Meg Lanning were the other two candidates in the poll and obtained 6% and 0.5% votes respectively.



Imran Khan scored 3807 runs in 88 Test matches at an average of 37.69 and 3709 runs in 175 ODIs at an average of 33.41. His bowling averages in Tests and ODIs are 22.81 and 26.61 respectively. Imran Khan’s averages as captain with the bat and the ball are 52.34 and 20.26 respectively.
