PCB respects Amir's decision, won't consider him in future: spokesperson
Mohammad Amir decided to take retirement from international cricket.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – After Mohammad Amir decided to take retirement from international cricket on Thursday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) contacted the fast bowler and confirmed his decision.
The PCB spokesperson said, “Mohammad Amir wished not to continue international cricket and the governing body completely respects his personal decision. He will not be considered for future tours.”
It is pertinent here to mention that Mohammad Amir decided to quit international cricket after he was dropped from the New Zealand tour, and said he will formally announce retirement in a couple of days.

The 28-year-old said he can work no longer with the current management. Earlier on Wednesday, Mohammad Amir said in a video statement that there are no hopes of his comeback in Pakistan team and the behavior of bowling coach Waqar Younis is unbearable.
The left-amer said it was shocking for him that the national team for New Zealand tour was announced before Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoffs as it did not make any sense.
