Pakistan will play three T20Is and two Tests in New Zealand.

CHRISTCHURCH (Dunya News) – Fifty-two members of Pakistan cricket squad have on Tuesday left Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) in Christchurch after testing negative for coronavirus and reached Queenstown.

The players are now allowed to start training and practice sessions in groups and will begin the activities from Wednesday. The squads of Pakistan national team and Pakistan Shaheens are staying at separate hotels in Queenstown.

Furthermore, one individual flew from Auckland and joined the team. The 54th member will reach Queenstown on Thursday ahead of Pakistan’s international fixtures against New Zealand, starting from December 18.

The three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series between Pakistan New Zealand will begin at Auckland on December 18. Hamilton (December 20) and Napier (December 22) will host the second and third matches respectively.

The T20I series will be followed by two Tests at Mount Maunganui (December 26-30) and Christchurch (January 3-7).
