Dean Jones passed away of heart attack at 59.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Karachi Kings head coach Dean Jones has on Thursday passed away of heart attack at 59. He also served for Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The former Australian cricketer was in Mumbai as he was doing off-tube commentary on the Indian Premier League 2020 now underway in UAE.

The Karachi Kings coach was very excited when the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the dates of PSL play-offs. He had also said that all of Karachi Kings overseas and local players will be available from November 14-17.

Dean Jones played 52 Test matches for Australia and scored 3631 runs with an average of 46.55 and highest score of 216. He registered eleven centuries and was an important member of Allan Border’s team.

Dean Jones represented the Kangaroos in 164 ODIs scoring 6068 runs. He smashed seven ODI tons and 46 half-centuries.
