Mishah-ul-Haq is satisfied with Younis Khan's performance as batting coach.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Extension in contracts of batting coach Younis Khan and other members of management – present in England with Pakistan team – is conditional with their performances, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources informed Roznama Dunya on Tuesday.

The PCB sources have clarified that Younis Khan has not been appointed as the permanent batting coach and any decision in this regard will be made after the England tour ends.

It has been learnt that head coach Mishah-ul-Haq is satisfied with Younis Khan’s performance but his future will be decided after analysis of his performance and his relations with other coaching staff and players.

On the other hand, head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq is also under pressure as questions are also being raised over his performance following Pakistan’s defeat in first England Test and appointment of Azhar Ali as Test captain.

Azhar Ali is looking ineffective in the England series as skipper and is also failing to perform with the bat. Big changes are expected in Pakistan team management after the squad’s return from England.
