Ex-Test cricketer Atta-ur-Rehman breaks silence on match fixing after 20 years
I will not remain silent until Wasim Akram tells the world himself, he said.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Test cricketer Atta-ur-Rehman broke his silence on match fixing after 20 years and said that then captain and Sultan of Swing Waseem Akram asked him change the statement before commission.
Ata-ur-Rehman criticized former captain Wasim Akram and confirmed the accusation of former chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Khalid Mehmood that Akram did match fixing in 90s.
Rehman while terming Akram as the reason for downfall of his cricket career and said that media should question later.
“I will not remain silent until Wasim Akram tells the world himself,” he said.
