RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Karachi Kings beat Islamabad United by five wickets in the 14th match of the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Playing first,  Islamabad United scored 183 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Luke Ronchi scored 85 runs in 53 balls while skipper Shadab Khan hit 54 runs in 31 balls.

Earlier, Karachi Kings have won the toss and elected to field first against Islamabad United.

Islamabad United are placed at the third spot in the Pakistan Super League 2020 points table with two wins and two losses from 4 games. The team has four points and a net run rate of + 0.145.

While Karachi Kings are placed at the 5th spot with one win and two losses from 3 games. Kings have two points and a net run rate of - 0.868.

It is Islamabad United that have been the more convincing of the two teams and their batting especially has the edge in form over the Karachi Kings line-up.

Both possess some serious firepower in the batting department but the Kings have yet to catch any real form unlike Islamabad’s and that could make the difference here.

Unless the likes of Babar Azam or Alex Hales can catch fire, the Kings may struggle to keep up with this strong Islamabad side in what should be a high-scoring shootout.
