PCB insists on home venue for Bangladesh Tests, awaits positive response.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sped up talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) over Test series between both countries while insisting that the matches will be played in Pakistan.

The chiefs of both governing bodies exchanged views with each other over telephone as well as via email. The PCB ruled out the possibility of playing home Test series in Bangladesh.

PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani insisted that Bangladesh should come to Pakistan to play the Test matches. It has been proposed to play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in future.

Meanwhile, The PCB is confident of getting a positive response from the BCB in a day or two. It is pertinent here to mention that the Bangladesh Cricket Board had earlier agreed to play three T20Is in Pakistan instead of Test series.
