Islamabad United has opted for the legendary Dale Steyn for PSL 2020.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The player draft of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 finally came to an end in Lahore after a fierce battle between all five franchises.

The Habib Bank Limited (HBL) PSL draft took place at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in today ahead of the fifth edition in 2020 which is scheduled to take place in February.

Defending champions Gladiators have got their hands on the likes of World Cup champions-like Jason Roy. They also bagged pacer Sohail Khan to add spice in their squad.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi, had retained all their three Platinum stars from last year, and managed to strengthen certain key positions by including the likes of Shoaib Malik and Rahat Ali to their roster.

Two times champions, Islamabad United, on the other hand, opted to go for performers that have already been in their team as they brought back the likes of RummanRaees and English hitter Phil Salt among others while also choosing the legendary spearhead pacer, Dale Steyn, into their team.

Karachi Kings surprised everyone by adding one of the most exciting player, Sharjeel Khan, in their roster who was banned owing to match-fixing, Kings also opted for English powerhouse, Alex Hales, to add extra firepower.

Lahore Qalandars and Mutlan Sultans who are often regarded as strugglers and part-time darkhorses have also tried to strengtehend their team with intelligent picks. Lahore can now call upon Chris Lynn while Multan hav eMoeen Ali and RileeRossouw at their disposal.
