Thanks to Pakistan, PCB for high-end arrangements: Sri Lankan captain
Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed expressed that whichever team performs better will win the T20I series.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka expressed gratitude towards Pakistan’s government and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for organizing series in the best possible way including great security arrangements.
He asserted that Pakistan team is number one in the T20I ranking and it will be very challenging to play against them as Pakistan easily beat them in the ODI series. He expressed to give his best, “We hope to play good against Pakistan in T20I series and clinch the series”.
Sri Lankan captain said that Pakistan is very great at hosting and he welcomes all the humility. He went on to say that it’s the second time he has visited Pakistan and he wishes to come again to play in the country. Nonetheless, he concluded with saying that he will convince his senior players for a test series in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the national cricket team skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed expressed that whichever team performs better will win the T20I series.
At a press conference in Gaddafi Stadium, he welcomed Sri Lanka team for coming to Pakistan to play a bilateral series with them. He went on to say that Pakistan is not taking Sri Lankan team easy and will play their best against them.
Talking about the T20I series, Pakistani skipper asserted that to win toss in a T20 match is very important.
