Hafeez is currently playing for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the ongoing CPL 2019.

ST. LUCIA (Dunya News) – Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, who failed to make it into the Pakistan team for Sri Lanka series, is playing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) where he posted a picture of him relaxing in a pool with a sunset view but got trolled by Pakistani fans.

In August, Mohammad Hafeez was also left out from the 19 players list who were awarded central contracts by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the 2019-20 season. Currently, the 38-year-old is playing for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2019 (CPL).

On Sunday, the Pakistan all-rounder took to Twitter and posted pictures of his "Sunset view in beautiful St Lucia".

Professor’s post quickly garnered a lot of trolling from fans.

Many fans lambasted him for his performance in the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2019 and getting axed from upcoming SL series.

One of the fans accused him of copying Indian batsman Virat Kohli and advised him to copy his performance rather than his style.

One of the Twitteratis also trolled Shoaib Malik along with him and said that Pakistan team will touch sky after they were not given contracts by PCB.

Among the trolling, one of the user asked him to start performing in the CPL instead of chilling in the pool.

Hafeez was part of Pakistan‘ World Cup squad but has been kept off due to his commitments in the Caribbean Premier League, said head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq.

"He is not out of our plans," added Misbah. "Whoever is effective for the team will be included in the future."
