Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal among 20 probables announced by PCB for Sri Lanka series.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq Monday announced 20 probables for the training camp – scheduled at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore from Wednesday – ahead of the Sri Lanka series.
Opener Ahmed Shehzad and middle-order batsman Umar Akmal have been included in the probables. Veterans Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik have not been named in the list as they have been granted NOC until 12 October to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Misbah-ul-Haq will announce both one-day international (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) squads on September 21 at the Gaddafi Stadium. The ODI side will move to Karachi on 24 September, where the 50-over format is scheduled.
Pakistan will play ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka which will be held from 27 September to 9 October in Karachi and Lahore.
