U-19 Asia Cup: Afghanistan defeat Pakistan by 85 runs

SRI LANKA (Dunya News) - Afghanistan has beaten Pakistan by 85 runs in their first match of Under-19 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka on Thursday.
Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first when the match was delayed by rain in the 46th over with Afghans on 162 for nine.
In return, Afghanistan showcased a stupendous performance and bowled out Pakistan for just 78 run in 19.4 overs.
Afghanistan’s Shafiqullah Ghafari was declared man of the match as he picked up three wickets. Fazal Haq, Obaidullah Taniwal and Noor Ahmad claimed two wickets each.
Sediqullah Atal was top scorer for Afghanistan with his 29, followed by Rahmanullah who made 27.
For Pakistan, Irfan Khan (19) and Rohail Nazir (16) were their only double digit scorers.
