KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad pledged support to the people of Kashmir by wielding a sword, and stressed that he could also kill for the occupied valley’s freedom.

“Kashmiri brethren, don’t worry, we are standing with you,” continued the 62-year-old while holding a sword, “If I can hit a six with a bat, why can’t I kill a man with a sword.”

Earlier, Javed Miandad had affirmed that no one could separate Kashmir from Pakistan, and asserted that Kashmiris should be given their rights.

The 1992 World Cup winner had also announced to visit the Line of Control (LoC) and vowed to stage protest to highlight the Indian atrocities in the occupied Kashmir.
