LAHORE (Dunya News) – Players of team Pakistan – after being knocked out of the ICC World Cup 2019 at the fifth position due to low net run rate – have returned back to the country.
Team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who returned to Karachi, will address an important press conference today. Along with the skipper, Muhammad Husnain has also returned back.
Other players, including Shoaib Malik, who has announced his retirement from the one-day internationals (ODIs), Wahab Riaz, Muhammad Hafeez and Muhammad Amir will return back to the country after a few days.
Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq will address the media on July 9 in Lahore.
Players, who landed at the Lahore airport via EK-622 flight, include Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Asif Ali and fast bowler Hassan Ali.
