(Web Desk) – A group of Pakistani fans have kept the overnight sensation, internet meme guy Mohammad Akhar alive by wearing his reaction on their T-shirts to the match against New Zealand.

When asked the reason for wearing him one of them suggested that he covers all range of emotions and is a reminder to not to drop catches while playing in the World Cup.

The group of friends got the T-shirts printed two days before the match against South Africa.

‘I think this is going to be the universal emoji for dropped catches and hopefully we can change his expression.’

They wore the T-shirts against the game against South Africa and think that the team saw their message and it did the trick because they played well and won the match.
