Gilgit-Baltistan Super League Season 2 kicks off.

GILGIT-BALTISTAN (Dunya News) – The second edition of the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Super League kicked off to promote professional cricket in the territory and to bring the youth towards positive activities, Dunya News reported on Monday.

Pakistan star all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez participated in the opening ceremony of the cricket tournament along with GB Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman.



Addressing the ceremony, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman said the authorities are working hard for Gilgit-Baltistan’s representation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as well.

Mohammad Hafeez also welcomed the initiative of holding the league in GB. The players performed folk dance and conducted march-past in the opening ceremony.





The Super League will continue till April 14. Twelve teams from ten districts are taking part in the contests.
