Pakistan, Australia will conduct practice sessions on Wednesday.
DUBAI (Dunya News) – Pakistan and Australia cricket teams will conduct practice sessions for the upcoming one-day international (ODI) series in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday (today).
The trophy will be unveiled on Thursday. Pakistan regular skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has been rested for the series and ace all-rounder Shoaib Malik is appointed as the stand-in captain.
Pakistan’s 16-member national squad for the five-match ODI series mostly consists of youngsters. Abid Ali, Saad Ali and Mohammad Hasnain have been selected owing to their good performances in domestic cricket.
Shan Masood and Umar Akmal are making a comeback in the national squad. The series will start on March 22 in Sharjah and the Green Shirts are fully prepared for the challenge. The Kangaroos downed hosts India 3-2 in the recently held ODI series and are looking in good shape.
