PSL 4 qualifier: Zalmi, Gladiators to battle for place in final today

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Table-toppers Peshawar Zalmi and second-ranked Quetta Gladiators will lock horns with each other on Wednesday to qualify for the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 4.

The qualifier will be played at the National Stadium Karachi at 07:00 PM (PST). The stadium gates will be opened at 04:00 PM as cricket enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the game.

A high-scoring contest is expected between Zalmi and Gladiators owing to batting-friendly conditions.

Let it be known that Quetta Gladiators had brushed aside Peshawar Zalmi in both league matches of this year’s edition. Peshawar Zalmi had defeated Quetta Gladiators by one run in a nail-biting Eliminator 1 of the PSL 3.

The winner of today’s match will qualify for the final of the PSL; however, the losing team will get another chance against the winner of Eliminator 1. This year’s first eliminator will be played between hosts Karachi Kings and defending champions Islamabad United on Thursday.
