Karachi ready to host PSL 4 as teams continue to arrive.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi is all set to host the Pakistan leg of the PSL Season 4 and teams continue to arrive in the city of the Quaid, Dunya News reported on Friday.
After Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United and Karachi Kings have also reached Pakistan. The teams were escorted to the hotel under strict security and fans greeted them on their way. Lahore Qalandars will arrive today.
Gladiators, United and Kings will conduct practice sessions today. The next phase of the Pakistan Super League will Saturday kick off when Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United will lock horns at the National Stadium Karachi. The match will start at 07:00 PM (PST).
Cricket enthusiasts, particularly Karachiites, are excited to see PSL matches in Pakistan. The stadium is ready to host the event. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ehsan Mani visited the National Stadium himself to inspect the preparations.
The broadcasting company has installed 33 cameras along with Hawk-Eye at the stadium. Spider cam will also capture the live action.
The security is beefed up on the occasion. Officials of Pakistan Rangers Sindh, police and intelligence agencies are at their duties 24/7 inside and outside the National Stadium.
