KARACHI (Dunya News) – Tickets for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoffs Monday went on sale and were sold out in a few hours as cricket enthusiasts are waiting eagerly to see the Pakistan-leg of the tournament.
The tickets worth Rs500 for the final match were sold out in just one hour, and Rs2000 tickets were also bought in a few hours by the spectators.
According to details, the tickets went on sale in Lahore and Karachi and fans gathered at the designated centers early in the morning to ensure they get the tickets.
Five tickets are available on one computerized national identity card (CNIC). Fourteen thousand tickets were sold in three hours. Women were also present to buy the tickets.
Seven thousand tickets have already been sold out online; however tickets for VIP category are still available at the centers.
The prices of tickets for the matches to be played in Karachi are from Rs500 to Rs12,000, while the ticket prices for the matches in Lahore are from Rs1,000 to Rs12,000.
Eight PSL matches will be held in Pakistan this season. The Gaddafi Stadium Lahore will host three matches whereas five games including the final will be played at the National Stadium Karachi.
