PSL 2019: Tickets for Pakistan matches go on sale tonight

The prices of tickets for the five matches to be played in Karachi will be from Rs500 to Rs12,000.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The tickets for the upcoming matches of Pakistan Super League’s fourth edition in Karachi and Lahore will go on sale online tonight and the minimum price fixed at Rs500.

The prices of tickets for the five matches to be played in Karachi will be from Rs500 to Rs12,000, while the prices tickets for the three matches to be played in Lahore will be from Rs1,000 to Rs12,000.

On Tuesday, a ceremony to unveil Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 trophy was held ahead of fourth edition of the league is to kickstart in the Emirates.

The trophy was choppered in to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium where it was unveiled by skippers of the six franchises.

The ceremony begun with a press conference which was addressed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani, Managing Director Waseem Khan and the skippers of all franchises.

Speaking on the occasion, Ehsan Mani said that the journey of the Pakistan Super League has been superb so far, and thanked owners of all the franchises, players and sponsors for their support and cooperation in organising the fourth edition of Pakistan’s first ever indigenous league.

It is pertinent here to mention that the grand opening ceremony of the 2019 Pakistan Super League will be held today in Dubai, with performances from some of the biggest names in the global and Pakistani entertainment industry.

Artists including Pakistani band Junoon and pops band of an era gone by, Boney M will also make their presence felt. Others include the likes of Young Desi, Fawad Khan, Aima Baig and Shuja Haider as they look to light up the start of the fourth season of the PSL.

The opening ceremony will be followed by the first match of the PSL-4 between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.

The fourth edition of the highly anticipated league will kick-off from February 14 and will conclude with the final to be played at the national stadium Karachi on March 17, 2019. Karachi Kings will play its opening match against Multan Sultans on February 15 at Dubai.
