SA will have to play the rest of the series without their skipper, Faf du Plessis

(Web Desk) After facing defeat in first T-20 match, Pakistan have the chance to level the short format series against South Africa when the two sides clash at the Wanderers, Johannesburg, on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts secured a 1-0 lead going into the second match, thanks to a brilliant batting display from captain Faf du Plessis and opener, Reeza Hendricks, who registered 74 and 78 runs respectively, while David Miller did his bit on the field with six dismissal – to hand the Proteas a six-run win.

They will have to play the rest of the series without their skipper, Faf du Plessis.

Another absentee for the remainder of Pakistan’s tour is keeper-batsman, Quinton de Kock, who picked up a agroin injury and has been replaced by Cape Town Blitz opening partner, Janneman Malan.
